Ive had one tooth took out before and a few months ago I went to the hospital and my orthodontist told me I need braces but before I get braces I need 4 teeth took out. When I had one tooth took out the process was pretty simple. Will they do the same and just do it 4 times over or is there some sort of other treatment on getting larger numbers of teeth took out?
Just wondered lol
Teeth appliances / Braces?
It will probably affect your speech, (it did mine) but not so much you wont be able to talk
Reply:no i had 4 teeth out and the procedure is the same as having one and no braces dnt affect your speech.
Reply:i had 5 teeth out for my braces bec i had so many..hence the reason for crooked teeth and the need of braces.
they didnt affect my speech tho..but you can always pretend they do just in english lessons ;) lol
Reply:they kinda affect my speech . i have a slight hissy lisp !!! aaaaaaaaaargh!!! but they just really hurt . you can still talk but wont want to , or eat ..... soz , but its the truth !!!
Reply:i think it is the same for getting more teeth out but i have never had teeth out so i do not know, and depending on the type of braces it can if it is the gum braces then yes but only for the first couple of weeks if it is "train tracks" over your teeth then no they do not as i have had both
Reply:No the don't do anything to you speech . But you could just tell him that your month is in pain and you can't take with the pain . Just make out lol . And if you tell the orthodontist that you want laughing gas . She mite give it to you .
Reply:he probably will use the same treatment. i have brace (but didn't need to get teeth taken out) and i can tell you it does NOT afect your speech
Reply:they wanted to take teeth out on me too. but i told them no, and they still put my braces on, and no braces dont effect your speech maybe like the first 2-3 dayz until u get use to them, but other than that they dont mess up ur speech! good luck :D!
Reply:braces dont affect ur speech... it actually helped mine. i used to have a lisp)pronouce my s's wrong) but now it is gone... it depends for different people.
