Who do you whiten teeth? with braces!?

I am a pefectionest! I have braces now and brush my teeth, floss, and rinse for like 10min! lol. But I would like my teeth whiter. Is there any way becasue I have braces? Thanks

Use the brush on whitener. That way you can get it all around your braces

Reply:You can't whiten your teeth with braces on, you'll have to wait till they come off. But just keep up what you're doing now so that when your braces come off you won't have weakened/discolored enamel then you can bleach.
Reply:my friend had braces and tried whitening gel. however before she had braces, she had been using whitening gel where her braces are now there. so i would advise you to only whiten your teeth if the part under your braces are white because if they aren't then when you get your braces off there will be a checkerboard effect on your teeth!
Reply:The glue holding the braces onto your teeth does tend to make them look a little yellower(I had braces as a teenager), but you can get some glyoxide, which is a dental peroxide, and add that to your toothbrush with your toothpaste. It's inexpensive and in the toothpaste isle. I drink a lot of coffee, and smoke cigarettes(not that much, cuz I am trying to quit), and the glyoxide keeps any yellowing to a minimum.
