ok so i have had braces for like 4 1/2 months and they said i had a baby tooth and that they need to take it out and pull the other one down and then they said somthing like that i needed a chain in my teeth to bring the other tooth that is up there down any of you know what that is please help.!!!

It's called an exposure. Sometimes your canine tooth doesn't come down like it should and it needs a little help. They get you nice and numb and take out the baby tooth. After the baby tooth is out, the remove some of the tissue and "expose" the canine tooth. Once the tooth is exposed they bond a metal chain to the tooth and connect the other end of the chain to your braces. This helps the tooth come down.
Reply:you know the little rubber band thingys they put around the brackets? well it just basicly a line of them. dont worry i have one myself
