Can a orthadontist work around wisdom teeth when giving braces??

Im in the process of getting braces and i have all 4 of my wisdom teeth out but they are all aligned in the correct position no trouble with them, but my orthadontist is sending me for some TM Joints radiographs done... which im assuming have to do with my wisdom teeth.... and i guess my question is can they put braces on teeth without having to brace the wisdom teeth ... they are aligned correctly with my jaw no troubles.... ???

Can a orthadontist work around wisdom teeth when giving braces??
From what my dentist told me, most people should have the wisdom teeth pulled regardless since they are extremely difficult to properly clean and get really bad cavities and will have to be pull. I have 2 that are fine, but I am getting all 4 out before I get braces again (the wisdom teeth shifted my teeth a lot). The orthodontist will be the best to answer your questions. Once your teeth are properly aligned, you may not have room for those wisdom teeth.
