Ohhh crap!...does teeth braces hurt to get put on??

That'll be a no. But, you're going to be pretty sore for awhile. Think soft foods and lots of shakes. The cold will numb the teeth, and it's soft. No chewing. Before you get them on, take some ibuprofen. Then take some that night before bed. Not going to lie, the next morning is going to feel pretty bad. But, you'll get used to it.

I think they don't hurt when they actually put them on, but your teeth will probably be sore for a while afterwards...at least that's what happened with my sister.

Reply:Having them put on doesn't hurt. After they're on, your teeth start to hurt. The first couple days are torture, and every time you go to get them tightened is awful. Hang in there, think of how straight your teeth will be when you're done.
Reply:They do not hurt when they are going on but when you get home they will hurt so you most likely need to take some advil or alleve to get rid of some of the pain and then they will hurt when you go to get them tightened
Reply:when u get them put on, u just have 2 have ur mouth pried open 4 a looooooong time, and later it hurts when u eat or after you get them tightened. a week after u get ur braces, u get used to it. and after they're tightened, it takes a few more days 4 the pain 2 go away.
Reply:no it doesn't hurt to put them on.but they become really sore after about a couple of hours.this happens every time they r tightened too.but like everyone else has said, hang on in there, ur teeth and ur appearance shall be changed with a good treatment.good luck!
Reply:your teeth will be sore for a few days BUT WEAR YOUR RETAINERS ALWAY OR YOUR TEETH WILL GO BACK THE WAY THEY WERE
Reply:No they dont hurt when you get them on. But they do hurt the next hour. They also taste really bad when you get them on because of the glue that they use.
