Braces???crooked teeth???
yes. fix the problem before it becomes unfixable. braces hurt but they aren't all that bad.
Reply:If you're concerned about it, see an orthodontist, they'll be able to tell you if you need or could use braces.
Reply:Yes and your teeth should not be moving around go see a dentist.
Reply:braces wont help its only stickin out teeth that need braces if that worried ask a dentist
Reply:Okay, I'll be the first to admit i don't know a whole lot about teeth, but I know when I was 15 my wisdom teeth started trying to come in, but there wasn't enough room and it pushed my front teeth together. I ended up not getting them taken out until I was 19 and they are still slightly pushed together. The best thing I can think of is if your parent(s) have dental insurance on you(ask them) get an X-ray done to determine if this is the cause. If it is you may need to have the wisdom teeth extracted. If not then braces may be your best bet, but you have to see what the dentist says and if your parent(s) can afford this.
Reply:Yeah, see an orthodontist - a consultation is typically free. An orthodontist will check out your teeth and may even take xrays and pics to assess your situation. Braces can cost anywhere from $3000 - $6000. Clear braces will be about $500 more than regular braces.

I know a guy who got his braces when he was 38. So as long as you have teeth you can have braces (in most cases). But obviously do it when you're young.
Reply:First talk to your parents, if it really bugs you you should get braces, but it also depends on how much money your parents have to spare, braces can be very expensive.

Make an appointment with the orthodontist. He/She will know if you need to get braces or not. Maybe you just need a retainer, who knows?
